Legendary house producers Chris Lake and Armand Van Helden have teamed up to produce an EP called "The Answer " (available for streaming and digital download). The four-track body of work boasts everything from house heaters, to percolating beats, soulful melodies and bouncy bass lines.
The collaboration was sparked following a chance encounter at a Miami pool party where Lake ran into his longtime hero, Van Helden. The two briefly caught up and exchanged emails, and a month later Van Helden emailed Lake about working together. Lake suggested meeting him in Miami for a few days of intensively working together, and the two immediately clicked. Thus, The Answer was created.
